Course IV - Maintaining Equipment Health with PM, PdM, & CBM - 2 Days

Introduction

Unfortunately, up to 70% of equipment failures are self-induced by either by the processes or practices with the organization. Every year, companies in the United States spend over $700 billion on equipment maintenance within plants and facilities, with upwards of 40% wasted on ineffective preventive and predictive maintenance activities. Learn the processes and practices necessary to develop a program for maintaining equipment health using time-based preventive maintenance (PM) inspections and as required, rebuilds; along with technologies and approaches for predictive maintenance (PdM) tools and condition-based monitoring (CBM). In this two-day course, attendees will learn how to maximize their investment and lower costs while ensuring equipment reliability with condition-based monitoring application, predictive maintenance concepts, and preventive maintenance tasks such as inspections, in that order. The course is designed for Maintenance and Reliability Managers and Supervisors, Reliability Engineers, Preventive Maintenance Technicians, and Predictive Maintenance Technicians who want to drive improvement in equipment reliability. This course is a requirement for the Certified Maintenance and Reliability Manager Certificate Program that is offered in partnership with the University of North Florida (UNF).
