Certification Programs
Introduction to the Certification Programs
All of our Certification Programs are offered via the RAMS Center which is a educational partnership between the University of North Florida (UNF) Department of Continuing Education with People and Processes. The RAMS Center is located in the University Center on the UNF campus in Jacksonville, Florida. Courses required to gain certification are available at the RAMS Center on the UNF campus, through any of our public course offerings in other locations, and from courses taught at your on-site location.
Certification certificates from the University of North Florida Continuing Education and associated Continuing Education Units (CEU's) are awarded to those individuals who demonstrate the core competencies in the courses required for certification.
Certified Maintenance and Reliability Manager (CMRM) Certificate Program
The Certified Maintenance and Reliability for Managers Certificate Program is conducted in partnership with the University of North Florida. The participant who individually completes the six 2-day courses within a three year period, within the 3 week series, or within the 2 week Boot Camp approach will receive a the Maintenance and Reliability for Managers Certificate from the University of North Florida Continuing Education group. The Certificate will include 8.4 hours of Continuing Education Units (CEU) which may be applied to reflect continuing education for SMRP's Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP) recertification as an example. The CMRP certification exam is also proctored at the end of each 2 or 3 week series as an additional benefit to completing the Certification Program.
